Fuel can refer to several things in Cantr. Generally it means a substance that's burned to create heat, or motion through combustion.
Cooking fuels
- Dried dung
- Used in a small fire pit, primitive oven, deck grill, spit.
- Can only be used outdoors (the deck grill is kind of an exception)
- The least efficient fuel
- Wood
- Used in oven, small fire pit, primitive oven, deck grill, spit, smoker, fire place, convection oven.
- Propane
- Used in the gas oven, campstove, flattop griddle
Smelting fuels
- Wood
- Used in smelting furnace, primitive smelting furnace, small fire pit
- Only used in making bronze
- Charcoal
- Used in smelting furnace, primitive smelting furnace
- Less efficient compared to coal
- Propane
- Used in smelting furnace, primitive smelting furnace
- Made of gas through refining
Vehicle fuels
- Propane
- Made from gas with a gas purifier
- Biodiesel
- Made from impure biodiesel which is made of alcohol with soda in a biodiesel mixing vat
- Petrol
- Made from oil using a fractional distillation stack
