Primitive items are the most basic and simple tools and machinery in Cantr. They are often made of basic materials such as firewood, stone, small bones and large bones, and seashells to name a few.

Primitive items, particularly those made of bones (for example the bone knife) can no longer be repaired in-game.

For a society to become more advanced, the graduation to metal-based tools and machines using iron, bronze, and/or steel results in more durable goods and machinery. However, for those civilizations just starting out, primitive tools can help tremendously.
