Fuel

Fuel can refer to several things in Cantr. Generally it means a substance that's burned to create heat, or motion through combustion.

Cooking fuels

• Dried dung
  • Used in a small fire pit, primitive oven, deck grill, spit.
  • Can only be used outdoors (the deck grill is kind of an exception)
  • The least efficient fuel

• Wood
  • Used in oven, small fire pit, primitive oven, deck grill, spit.

• Charcoal
  • Used in the coal oven
  • Less efficient than coal

• Coal
  • Used in the coal oven

• Propane
  • Used in the gas oven

Smelting fuels

• Wood
  • Used in smelting furnace, primitive smelting furnace, small fire pit
  • Only used in making bronze

• Charcoal
  • Used in smelting furnace, primitive smelting furnace
  • Less efficient compared to coal

• Coal
  • Used in smelting furnace, primitive smelting furnace

• Propane
  • Used in smelting furnace, primitive smelting furnace
  • Made of gas through refining

Vehicle fuels

• Alcohol
  • Made from barley, corn, potatoes, rye, wheat, or wood using a pot still

• Propane
  • Made from gas with a gas purifier

• Biodiesel
  • Made from impure biodiesel which is made of alcohol with soda in a biodiesel mixing vat

• Petrol
  • Made from oil using a fractional distillation stack
