Wool is a fairly simple clothing material to obtain and produce, as it requires the use of little machinery and tools.
Gathered by killing or shearing animals of the sheep family, including among others fat-tailed sheep, snow sheep and mouflon.
Made into wool yarn using a spindle. Can be further processed into wool cloth using a loom or knitted with iron, wood, or bone knitting needles or crocheted with a crochet hook. Raw wool can also be used as padding in some items, or felted with water.
