Chris, I live in the GMT area and at the moment (When it's British Summer Time and is +1 GMT the reset is occuring at 7am and hour 2 seems to start at 9am. Currently it's 14:30 and it's hour 4 here in Cantr which makes hour 1 start at either 6am or 7am... not 1am*Puzzled look* I'm VERY confused with your timings.

Chris, It all seems to have changed back, the hours are now corresponding to your GMT reset of 1am as they are happening at 2am BST.  It did confuse me for a while. - Shaderon
The backup is happening at the right time... 14:3? GMT which is 15:3? British Summer Time (Daylight Savings) so I'm not sure why you have the Cantr times as different.

Ever since the game has been able to increase the frequency of chron job "ticks" from once every three Earth hours to every few minutes, the tick timers developed by [[User:Joo|Joo]] may not be as useful. However, they are not entirely obsolete, eitherTravel and project ticks no longer make sense. However, eating, starvation, and animal attack ticks may still be relevant. There may be a time when the tick tracker can be completely retired, but perhaps not yet.

Shaderon: I don't know who thought Cantr hour 0 was at 2am GMT but it's at 6am GMT. I checked it today so I changed the Wiki.

This and all times specifically mentioned in the Reoccurring Events section are approximations and are subject to change for various system reasons , by all means use these as a guide but don't rely on them --Chris Johnson 16:39, 21 Sep 2005 (EDT)

Project progress

After the UK/Ireland reverted to GMT from daylight savings this year (2005), the progression of projects takes place at *:24 cantr minutes instead of :12 every hour.

Don't know if this is a permanent change, our if it will revert to *:12 next spring. Not sure how to say this in Wiki without getting too wordy. --User:Desgr 20 Nov 2005 (GMT).

  • That would be consistant with my observations. Looks to be an old issue, changing the main page to say *:24. Would this also be the same for hunting time reset? Ceselb 10:48, 7 January 2007 (EST)

Tick Frequency and Joo's Tick Pages

Ever since the game has been able to increase the frequency of chron job "ticks" from once every three Earth hours to every few minutes, the tick timers developed by Joo may not be as useful. However, they are not entirely obsolete, either. Travel and project ticks no longer make sense. However, eating, starvation, and animal attack ticks may still be relevant. There may be a time when the tick tracker can be completely retired, but perhaps not yet.
