Made from hemp, cotton or silk yarn or sinew using a twiner or simple twiner.
Made into the drying rack, bowstring, burlap sack, gaff mainsail, square mainsail, jib, staysail, topsail and primitive sail. Can be further processed into thin rope using a rope machine.
Trivia: The different string types were combined into one resource "string", to make it possible for the drying rack to be built with any of the types.
