Fuel

Fuel can refer to several things in Cantr. Generally it means a substance that's burned to create heat, or motion through combustion.

Cooking fuels

• Dried dung
  • Can be used in a small fire pit, primitive oven, deck grill, spit.
  • Can only be used outdoors (the deck grill is a kind of an exeption)
  • The least efficient fuel

• Wood
  • Can be used in oven, small fire pit, primitive oven, deck grill, spit.
  • Most common cooking fuel

• Coal
  • Can be used in the coal oven

• Charcoal
  • Can be used in the coal oven
  • Less efficient than coal

Smelting fuels

• Coal
  • Used in smelting furnace, primitive smelting furnace
  • Most common fuel in smelting and refining metals

• Charcoal
  • Used in smelting furnace, primitive smelting furnace
  • Less efficient compared to coal

• Propane
  • Used in smelting furnace, primitive smelting furnace
  • Made of gas through refining

• Wood
  • Used in smelting furnace, primitive smelting furnace, small fire pit
  • Only used in making bronze

Vehicle fuels

• Biodiesel
  • Refined from impure biodiesel which is made of alcohol with soda in a biodiesel mixing vat

• Propane
  • Made of gas with a gas purifier

• Petrol
  • Made of oil using a fractional distillation stack
