Can we agree on a common number format at least within the English part of the wiki? Both "English" and "Continental" decimal place separators ("." & ",") have been used

As a starting point the Wikipedia style manual recommends "." as the decimal separator C.f. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style_%28dates_and_numbers%29&section=16#Numbers_2 .
