Fuel can refer to several things in Cantr. Generally it means a substance that's burned to create heat, or motion through combustion.
Cooking fuels
- Dried dung
- Can be used in a small fire pit, primitive oven, deck grill, spit.
- Can only be used outdoors (the deck grill is a kind of an exeption)
- The least efficient fuel
- Wood
- Can be used in oven, small fire pit, primitive oven, deck grill, spit.
- Most common cooking fuel
Smelting fuels
- Coal
- Used in smelting furnace, primitive smelting furnace
- Most common fuel in smelting and refining metals
- Charcoal
- Used in smelting furnace, primitive smelting furnace
- Less efficient compared to coal
- Propane
- Used in smelting furnace, primitive smelting furnace
- Made of gas through refining
- Wood
- Used in smelting furnace, primitive smelting furnace, small fire pit
- Only used in making bronze
Vehicle fuels
- Biodiesel
- Refined from impure biodiesel which is made of alcohol with soda in a biodiesel mixing vat
- Propane
- Refined from gas with a gas purifier
- Petrol
- Refined from oil using a fractional distillation stack
