Hi! The template animalsanchez¨used two different names "collect" and "collecting", that's what caused it to malfunction. Template issue
Hi! The template animalsanchez¨used two different names "collect" and "collecting", that's what caused it to malfunction. I have corrected that now. --EchoMan (talk) 20:58, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
The animal infobox
Hi! You're probably going to hate me now, but the idea was to copy the contents of the animalsanchez template back into the animal template before starting to add the new data into the various animal artticles. This isn't urgent in any way, but from now on it would be good to use the updated animal template. Cheers! :) --EchoMan (talk) 06:58, 26 July 2015 (UTC)
Articles with the same name in different languages
Hi! Normally English has precedence when it comes to articles with the same name. Then I usually let the article that were there first keep the name without the language abbreviation afterwards. I'm not sure why you moved Cobra to Cobra (en) since there isn't another article named Cobra? I would have kept Cobra for English and then added that language code for any other articles, e.g Cobra (de). Another example is the page Öl which is German for Oil, but also Beer in Swedish (Öl (sv)). I hope I'm not confusing things... ;) --EchoMan (talk) 13:28, 21 June 2015 (UTC)
- I created the page for Cobra, but also anticipated creating the page for Spanish, which will be Cobra (es). Should I change the English back and remove the (en)? Thanks! -Sanchez
- Yes, that would be the preffered way of doing it. Thanks. :) (P.s. If you type --~~~~ in a page, it will automatically insert a timestamp and your username. Also, typing a : first on a line will indent your text, so it becomes more clear that a block of text is in reply to the outer text. Several :'s will indent further. I did this indention for the blocks on this page.) --EchoMan (talk) 14:42, 21 June 2015 (UTC)
