My name is Judith Meyer, I'm 21 years old and I'm from Germany.
I have a huge interest in languages, programming, politics, history, philosophy and Judo. I can speak German, English, Esperanto, Latin, French and Italian, and I'm seriously studying Modern Greek and Chinese. I'm also trying to pick up some Dutch and Swahili, but I don't take that study as seriously. And I know how to say a few things in most languages. I'm interested in linguistics, particularly applied linguistics, comparative linguistics and computational linguistics. That's also what I study at university.
In my free time, I have a lot of projects to work on. One of them is [], where I collect all kinds of material that may help people to learn a foreign language online for free. I also offer an extensive course in Latin there. And of course I'm an active member of Unilang, the community of language learners that I presented to you in the first issue of the Cantr webzine.
In Cantr, I'm the chairperson of the Languages Department (what else!) and working on the translations to Esperanto and German. Apart from that, I occasionally program stuff for Cantr, mostly languages-related, as a special member of the Programming Department. And I also have a voice in the Game Administration Council.
