Iron ore is created by starting a blodstensmalm, magnetit or takonit crushing project on a stenbord or arbetsbänk. You will be able to produce 525, 540 or 487 grams of ore a day, and it will require the use of 750 grams of hematite, magnetite or taconite. Either a hammer (brons-, sten- eller vanlig hammare) or storslägga must be in your inventeringar at the time of working on the project, and either one works just as well as the other. However, there are separate projects for each tool, so one may not help on a hematite crushing project designed for hammers, while using a sledgehammer.

Used in a smältugn or primitiv smältugn with kalksten and kol, träkol or propan to make järn.
