Small bones are used to make many basic items, including: a bone knife, bone needle, bone shield, bone spear head, small bone hilt, atlatl head, atlatl handle, bone bagh-nakh, bone crochet hook, bone rattle, and also some clothing and jewellery.
Small bones are included in some cooking recipes to make a flavourful broth, as in matzoh balls soup and czernina.
