The lake is a location type in Cantr. It is a body of water completely surrounded by land. To traverse it you need certain types of water vehicles.
Unlike travelling on land, sailing the lakes is roaming free, ass opposed to land movement that strictly follow roads.
On lakes you can extract water using a solar still.
