Cantrians cannot communicate telepathically or read minds. When such thing happens, it's most likely a Capital Rule breach, often done unknowingly by newbies trying to make up a logical reason for doing something. You cannot "get messages" from characters out of town unless someone travels from this one character to the other and talks to them or passes a note.
