Many of the larger mammals you can successfully hunt will provide you with hide. You can also slaughter some domesticated animals to obtain hide, among other products.
Used for making simple clothing and also the buckler, bone shield, hide bag, cot and water skin.
With salt it can be further processed into leather, using the curing tub.
