Clothing items consisting of a mesh of yarn (usually wool) created by using two or more pins called iron, wood, or bone knitting needles. In Cantr these tools can be made of either wood or iron and they come in pairs - so apparently all knitting in Cantr is done as flat knitting or more likely the extra pins needed for knitting in the round are assumed.
