The crocodile prefers to hunt and prey on animals or even humans that stray to the edge of the waters where they abide much of the time. When an animal strays to close, the crocodile clamps down on it's victim with it's powerful jaws and drags it under water causing it to drown. In some cases it will execute the "Death Roll" spinning wildly in the water until tearing it's prey into peices speeding it's death.

Though the animal can be found around the world most if not all species are considered to be endangered. Animals will prey upon the young or unhatched crocs, but people hunt adults as well. People hunt the crocodile for it's scaly hide which is used to make many articles of clothing, handbags and wallets.
