The link has been added to the main page index. The wiki is a community run project, it's up to Russian players to translate and flesh out the Russian sections. --[[User:Chris Johnson|Chris Johnson]] 11:49, 30 October 2007 (EST)

Is this top-ten really necessary? I think it's pointless information and definitely not main page stuff ... why not move it to 'current events' or something? Or to a page about the Wiki? --Jos Elkink 05:51, 3 Nov 2005 (EST)

No, that's fair enough. I was attempting to show the active editing community that we appreciate the work they're putting in. This really should go in 'Community portal', which as Sho suggested "the idea is that the "wiki community" means the people who go there often and edit", with reference to the Wikipedia version. And just for clarity, do you debate its placement here, or that and its existence? -- Kabl00ey 21:22, 3 Nov 2005 (EST)
I don't think it's very useful, so in that sense I was debating it's existence, but I don't really care one way or the other. The placement was my main objection. --Jos Elkink 13:49, 5 Nov 2005 (EST)

International Emotes link

I have added a link, as requests keep coming up on the forums about how to deal with meetings between characters of different language groups. I have used this before, and assume that its presence on the Cantr wiki means it is a legitimate tool, but as far as I'm aware, dictionaries are a no-no, hence the disclaimer. A formal decision/formal guidance by staff on how to deal with 'international' meetings in Cantr would be appreciated (and is oft-requested)--Hallucinatingfarmer 11:33, 23 July 2007 (EDT)

Emoting can be done in any language and there is not a limit on sources. However, your chars may only speak or understand their spawn language or those learned in game. Many players outside of the English Zone emote well in English, so gesturing is a good way to try to communicate in cross-zone meetings and is not discouraged. -Sanczez
