Cod is a resource that is requires water to exist. You can gather this at a rate of 10 grams a day. You can gather this resource faster with a fishing spear or a fishing pole.
If you have fishing pole, you can catch 100 grams a day. If you have fishing spear, you can catch 70 grams a day.
Cod can be processed into Unknown (medium) (with a salting barrel), Unknown (medium) (with a smoker), baked cod or sushi (fish).
