Tools Required
A long range radio transmitter can only be built in a building.
Function
The radio transmitter has a "use radio" button by it.
When you use this you can enter a message and set the frequency (one of 201) that you want it broadcast on. The message is then broadcast. Every one in the same location sees you speaking into the radio, and everyone in the same location as a radio receiver within range (straight-line distance of 90 units, or 9 days' unburdened walking, or approximately one to three locations away, depending on the area) and set to listen to the chosen frequency hears the message. The speaker and transmitter are not identified; the message is along the lines of "you hear a radio message 'Mary had a little Lamb.'"
