Description and uses

The composite recurve bow is the most powerful weapon in Cantr without metal parts. However, it is quite complex in construction.

Real-life context

A recurve bow is one where the bow doubles back on itself, and thus the bowstring touches the bow. This results in more springiness and a faster/stronger arrow flight.

"Composite" indicates that the bow is made of several materials (in the past, sometimes animal cartilage), further adding to the springiness of the bow.

So, in-game, this bow is manufactured of multiple materials, and is of a recurve design.
