Timber is used, for example, in the construction of a log cabin. Timber is different from wood, however. It is a separate resource that can be gathered in a jungle or a forest. Timber can in the future also be used to produce planks and logs.
Timber is gathered at a rate of:
10 grams per day without tools.
2250 gram per day with a 3/4 axe.
3000 gram per day with an axe.
2200 gram per day with a steel battle axe.
