A resource that has to be processed before it can be used for anything, although once processed it can be turned into a regular food, a healing food or most recently: alcohol.
Corn can be popped in an oven to make popcorn, turned into grits on a kitchen table or ground into cornmeal with a millstone or a grain grinder (cornmeal can then be cooked into tortillas or cornbread).
In one day one person can farm 870 grams.
If you have a sickle or bronze sickle, you can farm 1740 grams a day.
If you have a scythe or bronze scythe, you can farm 4350 grams a day.
