A melhor regra de ouro para onde quer que te encontres é leres as leis!
Se não estiverem disponíveis (normalmente, estão no chão em forma de nota) não tenhas medo de perguntar.

Podes ler as leis clicando em 'objectos', onde estão listados todos os objectos encontrados no [[chão]] nessa localidade, incluindo as notas, e depois no botão em forma de olho para leres a nota que quiseres. A maioria das localidades com pelos menos meia dúzia de pessoas tem uma nota com umas certas regras ou leis, mas nem todas.

Na maior parte dos lugares, não é boa ideia bater às portas, entrar em edifícios, apanhar o que quer que seja do chão, ou ferir os habitantes.

Não há nenhuma regra no jogo que te obrigue a cumprir as regras da tua sociedade, mas lembra-te, se escolheres quebrar as regras, certifica-te que consegues escapar ileso, a não ser que queiras enfrentar as consequências.

Another good idea is to make your characters as original as possible. Using outside names of people and organizations is generally frowned upon by serious roleplayers. It shows a lack of imagination, and imagination is what makes Cantr so great. Even if your character does not assume the aspects of the real life person, your character will be taken much less seriously than a character with an orginal name.

OOC is the tag most use in game to indicate that the "player" uses to convey a message from their point of view rather than the characters. This is generally frowned upon in the game but is still used in certain cases. If you *must* speak OOC, it's preferred you do so in a whisper.

In case you're unaware, the map you see on the location page is tilted 90 degrees clockwise, placing north on the right-hand side of the map, where east would usually be. So, north is right, east is down, south is left, and west is up. Please remember this when mapping a region, or navigating the seas! Without this knowledge, you could easily become lost!

+Outra boa ideia é fazer os teus personagens o mais original possível. Usar nomes de pessoas ou organizações reais é normalmente reprovado por jogadores sérios. Isso mostra falta de imaginação, e imaginação é o que faz o Cantr tão bom. Mesmo se o teu personagem não assumir os aspectos da pessoa real, o teu personagem vai ser tomado muito menos a sério do que com um nome original.

+Caso não o saibas, o mapa que se encontra na página das localidades está virado 90 graus à direita, ficando o Norte à direita, onde seria o Este, habitualmente. Ou seja, o Norte é à direita, Este para baixo, Sul à esquerda e Oeste para cima. Lembra-te disto sempre que fizeres um mapa ou navegares no mar. Sem saber isto, podes perder-te fácilmente.
